Today we learn how to make Soya Chaap Recipe.
Soya chaap, mainly a Northern Indian recipe is enriched with healthy proteins and is also appealing and tempting to eat. This delight is actually a 100 % pure vegan food. A super yummy as well as simple to make soya chaap recipe, it’s widely popular in India is generally well prepared with skewers in a tandoor or clay-based oven. The best fit for a meal get-together with family and friends.
Ingredients for Soya Chaap Recipe:-
4 sticks of soya chaap
1 cup onion
1 cup tomato
2 Green Chili
1 Black cardamom
1 stick dalchini
1 tbsp red chili powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
½ tbsp Turmeric Powder
2 tbsp chaap masala
1 cup curd
Kasuri Methi for garnish
First of all, defrost chaap for 5 minutes by placing it in water.
Boil chaap sticks, when done keep aside.
Cut it into pieces and fry till light golden.
Take chaap out from oil & keep aside.
Take a pan, heat oil in it.
After heating add cumin seeds, and other raw masalas like bay leaf, black cardamom, cloves & also dalchini.
Now add garlic & onion paste in it and cook till it turns to soften.
After that, add tomato & green chili paste.
Add red chili, salt, turmeric & coriander powder & wait till paste started leaving oil.
When masala is ready, take 1 cup dahi & mix 1 spoon of chaap masala in it and put this in a pan.
Slow own the heat & cook for 5 minutes with a continuous stir.
Your gravy is almost ready, add fried chaap & remaining chaap masala in it cook for 2 more minutes so that chaap absorb all the spices.
Garnish it with kasuri methi & serve hot with chapati & rice.
