Today we learn how to make Soya Chilli Recipe.

Soya Chilli is a popular Indo Chinese starter recipe, made with soya nuggets. Soya chunks are rich in protein also loved by every age group. My family loves all variations of soya chunks It is an ideal party starter or an appetizer. I have deep fried the soya nuggets you can also pan-fried or shallow fried for less oil consumption.

Ingredients for Soya Chilli Recipe:-

  • 1 cup soya chunks

  • Water for boiling

  • oil for frying

  • Salt according to taste

  • 1 Green chili chopped

  • 1 cup Capsicum cubes

  • 1 cup Onion cubes

  • 1 tbsp vinegar

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp Tomato ketchup

  • 2 tbsp cornflour

  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

  • 1 tbsp red chili powder

  • Salt according to taste

  • coriander leaves for garnish

Method:

  1. Boil 2 glasses of water in a pan.

  2. When water starts boiling add ½ tbsp of salt in it.

  3. Now add soya chunks and boil for 5 minutes.

  4. After boiling strain all the water and place soya chunks in a bowl.

  5. Add 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste, 1 tbsp of tomato ketchup & 2 tbsp of cornflour in soya chunks.

  6. Mix it well so every piece of soya chunks is fully covered with cornflour.

  7. Heat oil in a pan and fry soya till it gets good golden color.

  8. Remove all the extra oil from soya & keep it aside.

  9. Now we are going to start the best part of making the soya chilli.

  10. Take a pan & heat 2 tbsp of oil.

  11. When oil starts heating add 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste & stir well.

  12. Add chopped onions & capsicum & fry on a full flame to make it crispy.

  13. After 2 minutes we are going to add soy sauce, vinegar & tomato ketchup in a pan.

  14. Stir well & add some salt & black pepper.

  15. At the end, we gonna add soya chunks & fry for 2 minutes.

  16. Turn off the flame garnish it with coriander & your yummy soya chilli is ready to it.

  17. Enjoy it as your lunch, evening snack or maybe as dinner it’s your choice.
